Sarah is a photojournalist and filmmaker based in D.C. She focuses on long form stories that encompass people, place and culture.
Having an older deaf brother, she grew up bilingual in American Sign Language (ASL) and English balancing deaf culture and a larger hearing world. From her own lived experiences, she is driven to make work that explores a more nuanced approach to visualizing the lives of Deaf and hard of hearing people.
